Ulster Rugby supports award-winning social mobility programme

Last week, Ulster Rugby teamed up with The Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP) to deliver sessions on the psychology of resilience and goal achievement to students from low income backgrounds.
This formed part of a week-long insight and skills training programme and coaching service, which also had the support of UTV, PwC, BT and Herbert Smith Freehills.
The scheme involved 30 local students, aged 17, and is designed to support young people from low income backgrounds in their pursuit of a career in business.
The students will now have access to lifetime career coaching through a dedicated online portal, with virtual coaches on hand to provide assistance with CVs, filling in application forms and interview preparation.
