Ulster Rugby is currently inviting applications for the post of Rugby Participation Officer.
There are 4 positions available covering various areas in the Province of Ulster, with 2 roles specifically dedicated to working in the Women and Girls game. These exciting roles will provide rugby development services for Rugby Clubs, Primary schools & Secondary schools within the allocated region of Ulster.
The successful candidate will have IRFU Stage 1 (Childrens Coaching Course) or Stage 2 (Youth Coaching Course) Coaching Qualification (or equivalent). They should have demonstrable experience of coaching at Stage 1 or Stage 2 of the LTPD pathway (age 6-15).
It is essential that they can work flexible hours, including weekends & evenings, have access to a form of transport insured for business use that will permit the post holder to meet the requirements of the post in full, be prepared to undertake an Access NI check and are eligible to work and live in the UK at the closing date for applications.
Being able to use own initiative appropriately, having a proven ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated and a good team player is key.
This is a permanent full-time contract, subject to the receipt of ongoing funding.
