The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance Team has issued a squad update ahead of Sunday’s Guinness PRO14 Round 9 fixture against Connacht Rugby at the Sportsground.

Sean Reidy sustained an injury to his left shoulder in Saturday’s Heineken Champions Cup game against Gloucester Rugby. He will see a specialist this week to assess the extent of the injury.

Following a hamstring injury sustained in training last week, Adam McBurney is unavailable for selection for the upcoming match against Connacht Rugby.

Marcell Coetzee and Sam Carter continue to follow Return to Play protocols, following their respective concussions sustained in the recent game against Toulouse.

Louis Ludik has resumed full team training following the concussion he sustained against Cardiff Blues.

Players currently unavailable due to injury: Jack McGrath (hip); Tom Stewart (hamstring); Iain Henderson (knee); Angus Curtis (knee); Will Addison (back); Rob Baloucoune (hamstring); Luke Marshall (knee); Rob Lyttle (back).
