  • Ulster have won all eight games they have played in the Guinness PRO14 this season and six of those with maximum points. Their best run in the Championship since 2012/13.
  • Connacht’s only defeat in the Guinness PRO14 since round 2 was at home to Scarlets on 14 November.
  • Connacht have won just one of their last nine fixtures against fellow Irish provinces; 26-20 against Ulster, at Aviva Stadium in August.
  • The last four fixtures between the two sides have all been won by the respective home side on the day, whilst Ulster have not been victorious in Galway since 26 December 2015.
