The Deloitte Ulster Women’s Junior Cup competition launch and opening round draw took place at Kingspan Stadium earlier today.
The draw was conducted by Lauren Graham, Senior Consultant at Deloitte, and Denis Gardiner, IRFU Ulster Branch Junior Vice President & Honorary Secretary, in the company of representatives from the 16 competing teams.
Deloitte are now the title sponsors for women’s domestic rugby within the Province for the next two years, expanding upon their commitment to support the Ulster Women’s and U18 Girls’ teams since 2017.
The Deloitte Ulster Women’s Junior Cup begins on 24th November with four games to be played in Round 1. The final will once again take place at Kingspan Stadium for the third year running. With increased participation in the women’s game, the Junior Cup is set to be an incredibly competitive campaign and several teams vying for the title.

Round 1 – 24 November 2019
Randalstown v. Belfast Harlequins
Queen’s University 2 v. Carrickfergus
Lisburn v. North Down
Malone 2 v. Portadown
Losers from Round 1 will fall into a subsidiary cup, with the losers of those games falling into a subsidiary shield.
Round 2 – 5 January 2020
(Round 1 winners and will be joined by four Division 1 teams for Round 2 – Ballynahinch, Omagh, Cavan, Dungannon)
Quarter-Finals – 9 February 2020
(Round 2 winners will be joined by top two Division 1 teams – Queen’s University and City of Derry)
Quarter-Final losers will fall into the Junior Shield.
Semi-Finals – 23 February 2020
Final – 4 April 2020 at Kingspan Stadium
