Ulster Rugby has confirmed details of a programme of one-day camps that will run during the Easter holidays for boys and girls.
Traditional Junior Rugby Camps for boys and girls aged P3-P7 will be held at five different club venues throughout the Easter week, while the hugely popular Digital Skills Camp for P5-P7 boys and girls will once again be held at Kingspan Stadium on Friday 19th April.
Subway Ulster Rugby Junior Camps
The focus of the Ulster Rugby Junior Camps is about boys and girls enjoying rugby in a fun and safe environment. These camps are open to both boys and girls, and previous experience of the game is not required to attend this camp.
Ulster Rugby Camps are player-centred with delivery by our coaches directed to the needs of the participants. Development of the players technical and tactical understanding is supported through the use of small sided games throughout the camp.
The rugby activities across the day will include the core rugby skills required by all to participate within the game.
Subway Ulster Rugby Digital Skills Camps
Ulster Rugby’s Digital Skills Camps are the perfect opportunity for young tech wizards with an interest in rugby. Train your own rugby robot to complete a series of challenges and then enter them in a head to head tournament to see who is the top robot of 2019. Can you get your rugby player to the try line without getting tackled or dropping the ball? Along the way you will learn basic coding skills, programming and a chance to look around the home of Ulster Rugby.
Each camp is staffed by appropriately qualified and experienced IRFU accredited coaches, and is managed by an experienced Ulster Rugby staff member.
The cost to attend any of the Easter Camps is just £15/€15, with discounts available for additional family members attending the same camp. Each participant will receive a Subway Meal Deal voucher and a promotional code to claim a free Kingspan Stadium tour, including a visit to The Nevin Spence Centre.
