The Ulster men once again had a tough time with the referee, having three players sin-binned. Ulster men; Matt McCullough, BJ Botha and Stephen Ferris all spent time in the bin for; hands in the ruck, infringements in the scrum and knees in a ruck, respectively.
Ulster winger, Clinton Schifcofske missed three penalty attempts, while a highlight for Ulster, was player/coach Paul Steinmetz, who replaced Bryn Cunningham in the first half, making a try saving tackle on Nikki Walker early in the second half.
Top of the league Ospreys, proved too strong for the Ulster team, but the lessons will be learnt and progress must be made for Ulster's next match at home against Edinburgh on Friday 3rd October.
