Community Rugby Officer (CRO) x 2
The above post holders will be responsible for delivering rugby programmes and initiatives on behalf of the Donegal Community Rugby Project and the Irish Rugby Football Union (Ulster Branch).
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
Proven rugby coaching ability
Have a minimum of an IRFU Foundation and/or Mini Rugby Coaching Qualification or equivalent
Have a relevant coaching, teaching or playing background
Be self motivated and prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Have access to a form of transport, insured for business use, that will permit the post holder to meet the requirements of the post in full
Please note that these positions are:
Based in County Donegal - the successful candidates will be allocated to either North or South County Donegal
Will begin on the 1st June 2010 and will run for an initial period until the 30th April 2011 (subject to funding)
For 30 hours per week for an initial period until October then raising to 35 hours per week for the period October 2010 - April 2011

The County Donegal Community Rugby Project is a partnership initiative between the 6 rugby clubs in County Donegal, the Irish Rugby Football Union and the Irish Rugby Football Union (Ulster Branch) with the aim of establishing a quality structure that provides a pathway and opportunity for the playing of Rugby Union at all levels within the Donegal area.
