The Sevens will be different this year as there will be a Youth (U18s) tournament earlier in the day. Teams from Cooke, Randalstown, Carrick, Lisburn and Belfast Harlequins will join the hosts, Ophir, in their own competition. The Youth tournament kicks off at 10am with group games leading to semi finals and a final at 12 noon.
Club President Malcolm Kane said, "I am very much looking forward to this years Sevens and particularly the youngsters tournament in the morning. This is the future of rugby and we are fully committed to supporting and developing as many players as possible. It will hopefully be a fun day, not just for the youth tournament and their support, but for all".
Entry for spectators is free and the afternoon matches kick off at 1.00pm with the final scheduled for around 5.30pm.
