Stadium Rules

Ravenhill Rugby Ground Regulations

1. The Senior Management reserves the right of admission to Ravenhill Rugby Grounds.

2. Matches will be played in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the International Rugby Board and Laws of the Game.

3. Play cannot be guaranteed to take place on any particular day or time and Senior Management reserves the right to change its advertised fixtures without notice and liability.

4. In the event of a match being postponed or abandoned, any refund of the admission charge will be at the sole discretion of Senior Management. This is subject to a time limitation. Persons entering Ravenhill Rugby Grounds are advised to retain their ticket stub, as this may be required to be produced at a later date.

5. The Senior Management reserves the right to refuse admission to the grounds, or to eject any person who refuses to be searched by any Steward or agent of the Senior Management or any Safety Officer or PSNI Officer.

6. Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, knives, bottles, cans, poles, height enhancers and any articles that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety are not permitted in the ground.

7. The no smoking policy must be strictly adhered to in all enclosed areas including toilet blocks, Members bar, Marquees, Office block, Corporate boxes, Enclosed disabled area, Changing rooms, Main stand, Temporary stands, Stand B and Player's lounge. Smoking is permitted on the promenade and in the car park areas only.

8. Ulster Rugby reserves the right without prior notice to revoke or vary any of the Rules with immediate effect if this is considered necessary on public safety grounds. Any such revocation or variation of the Rules will be displayed as soon as practicable at http://www.ulsterrugby.com/

9. Ulster Rugby shall be entitled to refuse admission or readmission to, or to eject from, the Stadium or the Ground, any person who does not comply with these Rules.

The following are strictly forbidden:

• The throwing of any object within the ground.

• The use of foul/abusive language, obscene chanting or racial abuse towards any person.

• Entering onto the pitch including after final whistle unless authorised during an emergency.

• Moving and viewing from one area of the ground to another that is not stated on your ticket, i.e. from Terrace to Promenade without the permission of the Venue Manager or Safety Officer.

• The obstruction of gangways, access ways, exits and entrances, stairways and like places at all times. Spectators are not permitted to gather in the Terrace lateral gangway (walkway) i.e. between the front crush barrier and the pitch fence. Standing in seated areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden.

• The climbing of stands, pitch fencing, or any other structures within the ground. Spectators must not be seated on the pitch perimeter fence.

• The consumption of intoxicating liquor is permitted in designated areas only.

• Any person attempting to gain admission to, or being found within a section of the ground designated for members only without the appropriate permission, may be ejected from the ground.

• With the exception of persons authorised by the Senior Management and press representatives holding official passes, the taking of photographs or use of video equipment inside the ground is prohibited. In addition, no recording for radio, television or for private purpose, whether for transmission or otherwise, without authorisation in writing from the Senior Management.

• Only persons specifically authorised in writing by the Senior Management are permitted to offer for sale or distribute within the ground any newspaper, periodical, flyer/leaflet, handout or any other article.

• Any person found damaging or defacing the property of the stadium will be prosecuted.

• Persons failing to comply with instructions from a steward, police officer or other authorised agent of the stadium may be ejected from the ground.

Persons are admitted to this ground subject to their acceptance of these ground regulations and the rules and regulations of the international rugby board. Entry into the ground shall constitute unqualified acceptance. The Senior Management reserves the right for its servants, agents and police to remove from this ground any person who does not comply with all these rules and regulations, or whose presence within the ground is, or could reasonably be, construed as constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any other person.
