The first Youth Committee meeting of the new season took place last night at Ravenhill.

Ulster Rugby held a design a mascot competition in league with our 14 Summer Camps that were offered across the country.

Just last week, local children had the chance to meet and chat with some of their rugby heroes during a week of non-stop fun recently when they took part in an Ulster Rugby Summer Camp at Royal Belfast Academical Institute (RBAI) playing fields, Osborne Park, Malone Road and at Armagh RFC.

Ulster Rugby Summers Camps took on a new dimension last week as sixty-three, 13-17 year olds attended the state of the art, High Performance Centre based at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown, for the Ulster Rugby 'Senior Summer Camp' sponsored by Centra.

At last weeks Campbell College and Banbridge RFC Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, the young participants were joined by Ulster player Andrew Trimble mid week, giving the participants the opportunity to meet their heroes while developing their rugby skills through fun activities.

Last week local children had the chance to meet and chat with their rugby heroes during a week of non-stop fun when they took part in an Ulster Rugby Summer Camps at Ballymena and Lisburn Rugby Club.

Two more Ulster Rugby Summer Camps were enjoyed by young participants in Coleraine and Shawsbridge, Belfast from the 19th - 23rd July.
