Ulster Rugby and Donegal Rugby Project Staff held a rugby summercamp at the Aura Leisure Centre last week.
The camp is one of 14 to be run throughout Ulster over the school holidays and local boys and girls from the county took part.
New Donegal Rugby Project coaches Graeme Eastwood and Chris Slevin coached the 6-12 year olds in structured sessions geared towards the IRFU's Long Term Player Development model.
Whilst rugby was the main focus for the week long camp, the children played many "modified games" involving other sports techniques to improve hand eye co-ordination and team skills and this allowed the participants to improve confidence and friendships.
