Now that rugby has recommenced after the recent snowfall, it was crunch time for Enniskillen and Donegal in the NorthWest League Section decider to see who would join Ballynahinch, Ards, Virginia, Clogher Valley, Ballymoney, Monaghan and Malone in the Brewin Dolphin U17s Ulster League playoff
After both sides produced one win each in their last two outings against each other, it was any one's game in this local derby. In the first half with a try a piece, it was only the Enniskillen conversion that separated the teams at half time. In the second half, despite a gallant Donegal defence, Enniskillen slowly edged away, with Enniskillen finally finishing the game 19 points to 5. Donegal went home proud of their achievements thus far this year and have already started planning for the cup competition. After a moment of celebration, Enniskillen now looked towards their trip to Ballynahinch - their prize for winning the game.
The complete Brewin Dolphin U17s league play off draw is as follows:
Ballynahinch v Enniskillen
Ards v Virginia
Clogher Valley v Ballymoney
Monaghan v Malone
All teams are competing for a place in the All Ireland club finals. Whilst Ballynahinch and Malone have competed in the All Ireland Club Finals before, for the others, it is a chance to try for that experience now.
In the Under 15 League, there is still the prize of Brewin Dolphin U15 League Winner to contend with. The U15s Draw is:
Malone v Omagh
Ballyclare v Dromore
Clogher Valley v Randalstown
Virginia v Carrick
