USRFR General Members Practical Workshop at UUJ Sunday 19th September..
At the last Management Meeting, the idea of having a General Members Workshop on the 3G pitch at UUJ was discussed.
Management asked if a Sunday session could be trialled, and I was tasked with trying to book the venue and confirm Dave McHugh to help out with the running of this session.
I can confirm that this workshop has now been finalised and booked with the provision of changing facilities, Half the 3G pitch from 2pm - 5pm as well as Tea, Coffee and biscuits on arrival.
I am suggesting the following agenda:
SUNDAY 19th SEPTEMBER
13.30 - Tea coffee and Biscuits on arrival.
14.00 - Fitness Testing for those wishing to do a test. (DW)
14.30 - Practical Demonstrations on the new IRB Law Interpretations (DMcH)
15.45 - Referee Positioning and skill drill sessions (DW) 17.00 - Finish.
This General Members Workshop is open to ALL active referees within USRFR and we would encourage as many as possible to attend.
During the day, Dave McHugh will also run a session for the USRFR Assessors. He will work with George Reid and Marshall Kilgore to confirm these details.
