Just last week, local children had the chance to meet and chat with some of their rugby heroes during a week of non-stop fun recently when they took part in an Ulster Rugby Summer Camp at Royal Belfast Academical Institute (RBAI) playing fields, Osborne Park, Malone Road and at Armagh RFC.

Over the weekend 6th, 7th and 8th August the IRFU Ulster Branch completed their final level one coaching course for this year; the course is aimed at coaches working with players at stage three of the IRFU long term player development pathway. The course was kindly hosted by the Royal School, Dungannon.

Ulster Rugby Summers Camps took on a new dimension last week as sixty-three, 13-17 year olds attended the state of the art, High Performance Centre based at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown, for the Ulster Rugby 'Senior Summer Camp' sponsored by Centra.

At last weeks Campbell College and Banbridge RFC Ulster Rugby Summer Camps, the young participants were joined by Ulster player Andrew Trimble mid week, giving the participants the opportunity to meet their heroes while developing their rugby skills through fun activities.
