Please be reminded that the closing dates for booking a place at the upcoming IRFU Level 2 Head Coach and Assistant Coaching courses are 11th and 25th June respectively
Details of both courses can be found below, and all those interested in attending are reminded to book early to avoid disappointment. The closing date for the Level 1 Head Coach course is Friday 11th June and for the Assistant Course, the 25th June.
Level 2 Head Coaches Course-
PART 1-
Friday 6th- Sunday 8th August
PART 2-
Friday 13th- Sunday 15th August
COST- €320 (does not include accommodation)
Level 2 Assistant Coaches Course-
PART 1-
Saturday 21st- Sunday 22nd August
COST- €150 (does not include accommodation)
Entry Criteria
Must be actively coaching as an Assistant Coach at the appropriate level at stage 4 rugby
Must be an accredited level one coach as either an Assistant or Head Coach
Confirmed attendees may arrange accommodation with the Marriott Johnstown Hotel in Enfield, Co Meath where special IRFU rates will be available for single, twin and three bed apartments on request from the hotel. Please do not book accommodation until your place on the course has been confirmed by the IRFU.
Since places are restricted on each course the IRFU will use the following hierarchy to select successful candidates. Preference will be given in the following order:-
1. Senior Club XV (AIL Division 1,2,3)
2. Representative U20s and U19s
3. Qualifying League Senior XV
4. U20 Club XV
5. Representative Under 18s
6. School 1st XV and Club Under 19s
Anyone who wishes to be considered for any of the above courses should first of all check that they meet the entry criteria and are available to attend the relevant course on the dates shown above. They should then complete the attached application form and return it to the address below no later than 3pm on Thursday 3rd June 2010. Please note that payment should not be sent with the application form.

All of the applications will be checked by the IRFU (Ulster Branch), graded then forwarded to Dublin for consideration. Please note that only those applicants which meet the minimum criteria will be considered and that the final decision regarding who will be invited onto the course will be at the discretion of the National Training Manager.
