Donegal recently had a visit from David Wilkinson, the IRFU Ulster Branch Referee Development Officer to run a course for Secondary school level refereeing
The course was attended by senior age group pupils and school leavers who have continued to support their school rugby. The attendees will help their schools in the New Year when they referee the Under 14 boys' and Under 15 girls' matches and also the Donegal Cup competitions that involve their old schools.
Participants taking part in the course included Jarryd Bennett, Jamie Boyle, Kerri Lee Murray, Donagh O'Callaghan, Brian Tague and Paul M Carroll. The second part of the course will involve an assessment by David Wilkinson during the Girls' Under 15 Cup competition scheduled for the end of January.
