The festival took place from Tuesday to Friday with schools taking part in round robin matches each day. Scores weren't kept, therefore there were no overall winners each day.
Commenting on the success of the festival, Brian O'Shaughnessy, Senior Community Rugby Officer at IRFU Ulster Branch said: "The format of this year's festival worked really well and there was a great sense of sportsmanship throughout the week. The emphasis was on fun and taking part and we hope that by giving every team the chance to participate, that more young people will continue to play the game.
"I would like to thank sponsors, Northgate, the referees who officiated during the week and also the teachers and pupils at all of the schools. My thanks also to the Ulster Branch staff who helped to organise the festival."
