University of Ulster, Jordanstown are offering a series of Coach Education courses, beginning in January 2010.

All courses are accredited on the Qualifications and Credit Framework at level 3 or 4 and are designed and delivered through the University of Ulster's School of Sports Studies.

Courses include the following:

- Sport psychology for coaches
- Developing children's basic sport skills
- Good practice in children's sport
- Officiating in Athletics

- Sports Event Management
- Sports coaching
- Sports Leadership
- Introduction to strength and conditioning for coaches
- Team building through sport and physical activity
- Introduction to Applied Performance Analysis
