Ulster Rugby, along with proud sponsors, Bank of Ireland, has released a video featuring the Ulster Orchestra, Andrea Begley, Willie John McBride and a host of supporters from right across the Province performing a unique rendition of ‘Stand up for the Ulstermen’.
In the words of Willie John McBride: ‘When you take on Ulster at Ravenhill, you are not only playing the 15 players on the pitch, you are playing the whole Province of Ulster’ and the video encourages fans to ‘show their support’ ahead of the crucial game against Saracens at Ravenhill on 5th April.
Ulster Rugby, in conjunction with Bank of Ireland, is offering fans the chance to win a pair of tickets for the Heineken Cup quarter-final.
There are five pairs up for grabs and to stand a chance of winning a pair, supporters are asked to show their support in the most imaginative way possible. Whether that is through a tweet, a video, a photograph or a song, Ulster Rugby and Bank of Ireland are looking for a creative and inspiring demonstration of support.
The best entries will be shown on the big screen at Ravenhill before the game on 5th April as the players warm up on the pitch.
A selection of the photographs will also be used on Bank of Ireland’s ‘17 years of support’ TV advertisements which will run on UTV in the build up to the game.
