| Both girls, who play for Cooke and Ulster, were selected for trials following the Inter-provincials and succeeded in being selected for the Irish squad.
Jess is the current Ulster Captain and made her Irish debut last season, starting in all of Ireland’s Six Nations’ encounters. The Ulster hooker is the only starting Ulster player for Friday’s match. Since her inclusion in the squad, Jess has been a hugely influential figure, setting very high standards, and playing with consistently strong performances to date.

We would like to congratulate both players on their selection and wish them and the rest of the squad every success in this year's Six Nations campaign.
