Ulster went down 42-0 to a strong and well-drilled Munster team in sweltering heat in Fermoy on Saturday.
A series of unforced errors led to Munster getting an unassailable lead in the first half. Ulster tightened up their defence in the last quarter which limited Munster's scoring but unfortunately the girls in white never looked like scoring themselves. A few individual performances shone through but overall it was a disappointing display from Ulster.

During the game there were glimpses of what the Ulster performance should have been. This encourages the Ulster Management that the game against Leinster this Saturday in UUJ could lead to a shock for Leinster. The management and players are under no illusion that there is a lot of hard work to be done between now and then.
