Out-half David Humphreys slotted over a penalty in the 5th minute to start the scoreboard ticking over, however the Ospreys then took control and full-back Lee Bryne's 8th minute try which was converted by James Hook gave the visitors an early lead, Ulster 3 - 7 Ospreys.
Another successful Humphreys penalty brought the home side back to with one point but the breakthrough came 14 minutes later when Ulster hooker Rory Best touched down after some great lineout work. Humphreys converted the try and Ulster looked more solid at 13-7 and two further Humphreys' penalties gave Ulster a 19 - 7 lead at the half-time break.

Ulster upped their game after the half-time break, scoring three tries in the second period.
Tommy Bowe who replaced Andrew Maxwell at the beginning of the second-half scored a great try from a Paddy Wallace pass after Rory Best made an excellent charge down on the left wing. Humphreys converted the try and Ulster were leading 26-7.
Following another Ulster penalty, Paul Steinmetz scored an excellent third try for Ulster which was converted by Humphreys and eight minutes later replacement flanker Neil McMillan dived in for the bonus touchdown, also converted, sealing a resounding victory much to the delight of the crowd..
