The opening period of the match went all Ulster's way with Humphreys slotting over three penalties in quick succession to put the home side 9 - 0 up. However Glasgow replied with a converted try for centre Graeme Morrison on 20 minutes and this was followed by another for lock Craig Hamilton after an intercepted pass. Out-halves Parkes and Humphreys exchanged penalties before half-time but Glasgow went into the break with the lead.
Half-time Score: Ulster 12 - 17 Glasgow

Humphreys levelled the match at the start of the second half when he charged down Parks' kick and ran 65 metres, much to the delight of the Ravenhill crowd, to touch down under the posts, his conversion edging Ulster ahead, Ulster 19 - 17 Glasgow.
A second penalty for Parks on 51 minutes after Ulster were caught offside gave the visitors a one point lead, however 10 minutes later Humphreys knocked over another penalty to put the men in white back in front, Ulster 22 - 20 Glasgow.
Glasgow looked to have done enough to sneak the win when Dan Parks landed a penalty from 30 metres well into injury time, however, with the crowd roaring them on Ulster fought back and with the last kick of the game Bank of Ireland Man of the Match Humphreys struck the winner for Ulster.
Final Score: Ulster 25 - 23 Glasgow
