Declan started playing Rugby at the age of 12 with Donegal Town RFC. He played in the Ulster Cup Final at Under 16 for Donegal and has been playing Senior XV for Donegal Town for the last 4 years. What Declan enjoys most about being a YDO is giving every kid a chance to experience the game of rugby and give them an opportunity to have a healthy lifestyle. The work of a YDO is so important because it increases the awareness of rugby and provides a link between schools and clubs.
