| YDO Job Summary
Youth Development Officers (YDO’s) are employed to work within primary and secondary schools, to introduce and promote rugby amongst children of all ages, both males and females. Generally a YDO is associated with a particular club and works on their behalf to encourage children to join their club’s youth section. They also provide a link between schools and clubs. Their responsibilities include:
· Introduction of tag rugby
· Development of rugby within primary schools and secondary schools
