Summer Scrummage
The IRFU Summer Scrummage Camps have been a massive success throughout Ireland with thousands of kids aged between seven and thirteen taking part each year.  The camps are designed and run by IRFU accredited rugby coaches, with special care being taken to ensure that the kids are graded according to their age and skill with emphasis on fun and learning. The camps, which are sponsored by Ulster Bank, have been running for three years now and their popularity has soared. Last summer four of the camps were completely sold out in Ulster with many others seeing as many as 120 boys and girls.

Summer Scrummage came to a close this year and was another huge success thanks to the many kids who took part and the coaches who made the camps run so smoothly.  An extra 4 camps were run this year in the Province meaning that the numbers taking part have increased significantly which can only be a positive step for  the future of the game in Ulster.  The kids had lots of fun and met some of their rugby heroes. Many thanks to members of the Ulster Rugby team for taking the time to visit the various camps. Below are a few snaps from those visits.
