Paul McKenzie joined Ulster Rugby at the start of the 2006-07 season on a development contract having graduated from the Ulster Academy. A former Bangor Grammar pupil, Paul was first named for his Ulster debut against Leinster in 2006 and has since won 12 Caps for his province, also earning a place the with Ireland A squad to compete in the Churchill Cup in June.

With an excellent start to his rugby professional career, an extension of his contract ensures that he will be playing for Ulster rugby until end of the 2008/09 season.
