Scrum-half Paul Marshall joined Ulster Rugby on a full contract at the start of the 2006-07 season having graduated from the Ulster Academy based at the Sports Institute at Jordanstown.
A former pupil of Methodist College Belfast he got his first taste of senior action when he was involved in the 2005-06 pre-season friendly against Rotherham and the first Celtic League match away to Cardiff. He captained the Ulster U21 side in the same season and was part of the Irish Under 21 Six Nations team while a hand injury cut short his U21 RWC campaign with Ireland in Paris.
An ever present member of club rugby with Harlequins, Paul has signed a further contract for two years ensuring he remains with Ulster Rugby until the end of the 08/09 season.
