Paul Shields

Paul made his Ulster debut against Toulouse in the Heineken Cup in October 2000 and is a regular member of Ulster's match-day 22.
Capped twice for Ireland, Paul made his Irish international debut against Samoa in 2003 and won his second of his Irish caps coming on as a replacement against Italy in the same year.
Educated at one of Belfast's premier rugby schools, RBAI, he captained the Ulster Schools side in 1997 and in 1998 he captained the Ulster Under 20s side, and in 1999 won an Ulster Senior Cup medal with Instonians.
