15 May 2008, 1:06 pm
By Maire Cahill
A number of opportunities have arisen with the Regional Development Squads
Due to the ongoing success of boys and girls youth rugby this season the IRFU (Ulster Branch) has continued its development of 4 Regional Squads at Under 16 level and 2 Regional Squads at under 17 level along with a Girls Regional Squad at under 18 level.  The Regional Development Squads are the first step on the pathway to representative rugby within Ulster and their aim is to identify and develop players who will hopefully go on and play for Ulster and Irish teams in the future.
