| The 36th Primary Schools' Mini Rugby tournament kicked off today with the Bowl Final. The tournament, sponsored by ICT providers, Northgate will see 34 primary schools from across the province compete in the four competitions including today's Bowl Final, the Plate Final on Wednesday, the Shield Final on Thursday, and the prestigious Cup Final on Friday.
8 schools took part in the Bowl Final. These included:
Mossley P.S.
Hart Memorial
Waringstown
Enniskillen
Gilnahirk
Holywood
Clough
Lisnagelvin
The eight schools taking place in the Bowl final played a series of matches which led to the semi final stage and then the final. In the end it was Waringstown and Holywood P.S who made it to the final, fighting off some stiff competition along the way. In an exciting match, Holywood P.S. emerged as the winners and were presented with the Bowl by Ulster's Paddy Wallace. Runners up, Waringstown were also presented with medals for their strong effort.
