| Despite a determined performance and a four try bonus point for Ulster on Saturday, the home side were defeated at Ravenhill by Glasgow Warriors. |
| Tries from Ulster’s Isaac Boss, Roger Wilson, Simon Danielli and Tommy Bowe were not enough to clinch the victory in a closely contested match that saw the lead change five times throughout the 80 minutes of play. Despite the defeat, which was the first dent in Matt William’s fortress Ravenhill since his arrival, Cardiff’s five try display over Connacht cemented Ulster’s place in next season's Heineken Cup.
