| Ulster Branch staff hosted a rugby session for deaf children at Comber Leisure Centre on Friday night |
Last Friday night development Ulster Branch staff, Barry Willis and Joy Sparkes were invited to host a rugby session for deaf children at Comber Leisure Centre. The session was organised by the South Eastern and Social Care Parents of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children Information and Support Group, and children of all ages took part in fun rugby games. The children all wore cochlear implants, therefore soft rugby balls were used to minimise any risk of injury. Both Barry and Joy felt the session was a very worthwhile community exercise and all involved thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
