By Anne Perry
Ulster A Manager Gary Longwell has today named his team to take on Leinster A at Ravenhill tomorrow evening, kick off 6.30pm.

Ulster development player Kieran Hallett will start at fly half and be partnered by Ballymena scrum half Craig Woods who will be hoping to impress at Ravenhill. The backline is an exciting mix of experienced players and younger Academy players like Chris Cochrane.

Gary Longwell said this today,

“Training has been really good this week; the team are really looking forward to the game. We played Leinster at the start and it will be interesting to see how far both teams have come since then. All the matches so far have been very entertaining and we hope the Ulster supporters that come along to Ravenhill tomorrow night will enjoy a good game of rugby”

Meanwhile Leinster have named their side for the clash with Fergus McFadden returns to competitive provincial action after close to a six-month lay-off and is named at inside centre for the game in Belfast.

McFadden partners Eoin O’Malley after starring for Ireland Under-20s recently and the Academy duo are included in an exciting backline which sees Chris Keane partner Ian Keatley at half-back.

Fionn Carr and Felix Jones join skipper Gary Brown in a lively-looking back three.

There’s an experienced look to the pack unit as Cian Healy starts at loose-head prop alongside Brian Blaney and Stephen Knoop. Ireland international Trevor Hogan locks down with Devin Toner while there is also a place for Blackrock College’s Paul Ryan in the back-row.

Four more of last year’s Ireland Under-20 Grand Slam winning side - Richie Sweeney, Kevin Sheahan, Paul O’Donohoe and Kyle Tonetti are named amongst the replacements
