2nd Annual Ladies Varsity Match

University of Ulster 71- 0 Queens

Even though Queens Ladies started strongly the University of Ulster ladies soon found their stride and totally overwhelmed the opposition in the first game of 15 a-side rugby that a large proportion of the participants had played in. UU where held to a 27-0 lead at half time but as Queens tired late in the match UU piled on the points. Compared to their meeting earlier in the year it was obvious that the skills level of both sides have increased significantly but UU had the necessary cutting edges to score tries from anywhere on the pitch. UU showed great handling, tackling and running skills but credit must also go to Queens who never gave up and pushed UU right to the end.

The final score was University of Ulster 71 Queens 0
