| The squad, which consists of 18 players from Munster clubs, 17 players from clubs in Leinster, seven players from Ulster and two from Connacht, will be reduced to a match squad of 22 players on Monday 11th February. The team to play Scotland will be confirmed in advance of the game.
The 44-man squad was named after players were nominated by their club coaches throughout the AIB League season to date. In addition to this, a five-man team of selection advisors including Stephen Rooney, Philip Danaher, Finbar Dennehy, Ciaran Smith, and David Smyth have been monitoring games and recommending players for consideration.
On the new Ireland Club International Management Team, well- known Cork Constitution coach, Brian Walsh, will take up the role of coach for the Club side. Walsh will be assisted by Brian Hyland of UCC, whilst the team will be managed by Donal Brennan.
