Charity Run in the Sahara for Wooden Spoon Charity

At the end of March 2008 City of Armagh RFC's mini coach, Michael Boyd will run a 6 day 150 mile race across the Sahara desert in aid of the Wooden Spoon charity

Armagh's mini coach, Michael Boyd , will be in Africa this March running the Marathon des Sables in aid of the Wooden Spoon society here in Ulster . This race is run over 150 + miles on 6 consecutive days in the Sahara .

Wooden Spoon is the official charity of the 4 Home Unions and has been involved in donating funds to numerous good causes in the province. For more information you can visit http://www.woodenspoon.com/ and click on the Ulster Region.

All funds raised raised by Michael for this rugby-based charity will be reinvested in Ulster projects. Donations can be made either individually by going to www.justgiving.com/michaelboyd1 then following the instructions to complete the attached form, OR by contacting Mike directly at mboyd1@madasafish.com .

Donations made online by UK Taxpayers will be giftaided automatically, which means 28% more goes to Wooden Spoon.
