One Small Step Cross Community Project

Ulster Branch Community Rugby Development Officer (CRDO) Darren McGuigan recently joined forces with Omagh District Council where he coached rugby to a group of 25 kids as part of the One Small Step Project.

25 kids from the local Omagh area recently came together under the 'One Small Step' cross-community project. The children aged 6 - 12yrs did a variety of sports over the past few weeks and this week they had a go at rugby.

CRDO Darren McGuigan took the evening session at Omagh Rugby Club and ran various drills and games with a fun element, as most of the kids had no rugby experience. Darren was assisted by Tara Foyle and Lindsey Clarke who are Sports Studies students at South West College Enniskillen.
