Mark McCall who signed the 24 year old former Edinburgh player last season said this of the powerful centre: "Rob had a very successful Rugby World Cup with Scotland and has continued to impress us all at training since he joined the squad a few weeks ago. He has fitted in very well and everyone is really looking forward to his debut tomorrow night."

Dewey will partner Andrew Trimble in the centre, a new combination which will see the Scottish and Irish Internationals playing alongside each other for the first time. McCall said this of the partnership "They are both International players, individually they are both very strong and physical centres so it will great to see them play alongside each other and see what they can do"

Paddy Wallace and Isaac Boss will form the half-back partnership with Isaac being named as Vice Captain. David Humphreys and Paul Marshall have been selected as half back cover on the bench, whilst Tommy Bowe and Mark McCrea are named on the wings with Bryn Cunningham favoured as full back.

In the front row Ulster Captain Rory Best starts at hooker with Justin Fitzpatrick named at loose head prop and Bryan Young tight head.

The second row has a new combination with Irish A player Ryan Caldwell partnering Italian lock Carlo Del Fava for the first time, McCall said this of the partnership "This is one combination we haven't really had a chance to look at until now. Everyone has been very impressed with Carlo so far and Ryan started his season off really well but has been unavailable for two games due to suspension, so it will be exciting to watch how that combination works tomorrow night"

In the back row Kieron Dawson wins the selection battle over Neil McMillan and David Pollock and will line up alongside Neil Best who makes his first Ulster start since the end of last season. Stephen Ferris wears the Number 8 jersey with Roger Wilson named as cover on the bench. Matt McCullough was not available for selection due to a minor foot injury picked up at training last week.

The game which was named as All Ticket weeks ago will see the old rivals play for the first time since the Last Stand in Lansdowne Road last New Year's Eve; McCall acknowledged the importance of the Inter Pro clashes and said "The local derbies are the games the players look forward to, both sides are back to full strength and we are very much looking forward to the clash" Leinster are currently fifth in the Magners League table having played four games and won two and lost two.
