Ulster second row Justin Harrison is set to have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee later this week
An arthroscopic procedure is when a surgeon uses a camera to look inside the joint and it is used commonly on the knee. Justin has been experiencing episodes of knee joint pain during his pre-season programme and Friday's routine procedure in Belfast should determine the source of the problem.
Ulster physio Gareth Robinson is hopeful that Justin will be back in training within 4-6 weeks.
Ulster are set to kick off their season with back to back pres-season friendly fixtures against Leeds (Fri 31st August) and Gloucester (Sat 8th Sept)
