U19 WC Legacy: Quiz Winners Day Out

Jason Gribben from Dromore PS was the lucky winner of the legacy quiz. Jason and two friends Matthew and Nicholas Wilson spent a day with the Irish U19 team. Below is their picture diary of the days events.
10am: Jason, Nicholas and Matthew arrive at the team hotel

10.30am: Irish U19 Management/Team Meeting.  Players and coaches hold a video analysis session from the Ireland v Scotland match.

11.30am: The three boys meet with the Irish team doctor Tim O’Flanagan and discuss his role in monitoring and evaluating player injuries. 

12.00pm: Jason who plays scrum half, Matthew 2nd row and Nicholas who is a winger travel on the team bus to training.

12.15pm: Irish U19 coaches Charlie McAleese, Kurt McQuilkin and Derek Suffern make the guys work hard in setting up all of the equipment.

1.30pm: The three quiz winners watch on as members of the Irish squad take an ice bath following training.

2.00pm: Following a tiring morning everyone sits down to a healthy lunch which includes lasagne, tuna, bread and yoghurt.

2.30pm: Players enjoy some down time while Jason, Matthew and Nicholas make use of the pool and ping pong table in the games room before heading home.
