Ulster Rugby Academy Player Niall O'Connor who has been named on the replacements bench

Sean O’Brien suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury in the England game which forced him from the field in Athlone and his position at No.8 has been taken by Captain David Pollock, who moves from the openside. 

Kevin Sheahan, who was named in the replacements for the French game, comes back into the squad and straight into the team to take the No.7 jersey.  Tommy O’Donnell, who came on against England to replace Sean O’Brien, is also ruled out due to a thumb injury and Eoghan Grace comes into the replacements.

Five Ulster based players have been named including Ulster contracted players Darren Cave and David Pollock, Pollock will captain the side once again. Also well represented in the Ulster Rugby Academy with three players named including Thomas Anderson, Niall O'Connor and David Drake.
