Six highly motivated and enthusiastic teams took part from Ballyclare and Glengormley .  The schools represented were, Ballyhenry P.S, Ballyclare P.S who enetered 2 teams, Upperballyboley P.S, Thompson P.S and Tildarg P.S.  Many, if not all the games played were very closely contested, and no school should be disappointed with their effort or ability levels which have improved considerably since they were first introduced to the sport.

The weather on the morning was not great, however the children were not put off by the extremely cold and blustery conditions and thankfully the rain managed to hold off until after the tournament had finished.  This undoubtedly contributed greatly to the main objective of the day being met.  Fun and enjoyment.  Both the children and teachers alike had a smile on their faces at the end, proving the day to be a success.

Many thanks must go to the schools who entered their teams and thanks must also go to the teachers and parents for helping to transport the kids to and from the rugby club and also for the excellent support they showed to all the teams.
