By Anne Perry
Mervyn Torrans, aged 70 from Belfast has been an avid Ulster fan for over 50 years and a season ticket holder now for a number of years.
Mervyn goes to all of the home games and also manages to get to a number of away games each season. Mervyn has been involved with his club YMCA for over 50 years and is the club's life president.
Favourite all time Ulster memory
There have been a few, it’s difficult to pick just one. They would include the first time I was at an Ulster match at Ravenhill in 1953. Watching Jack Kyle play. My greatest memory was being at Lansdowne Road to see Ulster win the European Cup in Dublin in 1999.

Best Away Game Experience
It has to be Ulster winning the Celtic Cup in Edinburgh 2003. As always there was a good Ulster support and the atmosphere was great. It made for a good weekend away along with my “2 bodyguards” Billy & Gordon (the senior vice presidents of YMCA)!
