Important Information for Away Travellers

Read on for information for all those travelling to see Reading tomorrow to see London Irish v Ulster
The URSC are meeting up in the Walkabout, Wiston Terrace (Off Friar Street) from 11 am onwards.  There will be DVDs showing countless moments of Ulster Magic.

Directions:Walk out of the main entrance of the train station and walk straight up Queen Victoria Street until you reach Friar St.  Turn left and continue on this side of the road until you find a lane, which we are situated on. Turn left into the lane and we are there before you.  For details visit www.walkabout.eu.com/010/WAR/intro.html

Buses that stop immediately outside the Walkabout are: 19, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31, 33, 63, 65, 101, 102, 103, 126, 128, 129, 143, 148, 149, 328

There are shuttle buses to the Madejski Stadium and these operate from the Three Guineas, the pub beside Reading Station.  Departures are every ten minutes with a similar journey time.  Due to the anticipated size of traveling support we have suggested to the club that they provide additional buses however we have no firm commitment about that.  You are advised NOT to leave it to the last minute to try to get to the stadium or there will be chaos and you will miss the start of the game.

For those who have booked tickets on-line or have yet to buy them, the queues will be long and slow, so allow plenty of time.

There will be music in the North Stand BEFORE & AFTER the game.  The facilities at the stadium are very good indeed and fans may wish to arrive there early rather than lingering too long in Reading.
