tournaments keeping development officers busy

The past number of weeks have been busy for the Ulster Branch Development Officers after a series of competitions including the College 7's and College 10's Competitions. This week is no different with a number of tournaments and blitz's taking place in Belfast, Armagh and Bangor. The tournaments are being organised and run by the Development Officers as part of an ongoing rugby development initiative. Read on for more information.
Yr 8 and U14 Blitz at Shaws Bridge, Belfast

On Thursday and Friday an U14 and Yr 8 blitz are taking place at Shaws Bridge, Belfast.  The U14 blitz will take place on Thursday and will include: Fort Hill College, Bangor Academy, Our Lady’s and St Pats Lisnagarvey HS.  The Year 8 teams competing on Friday are: Fort Hill College, Lisnagarvey HS, Glengormley HS, Ashfield Boys HS, Corpus Christi College and Belfast Boys Model.  Kick-off is at 1.00pm both days.

Girls Blitz at Armagh

Armagh RFC will host a girls tag rugby blitz this Thursday, 7th December. Four schools are set to take part including Armagh College, St Catherine's College, City of Armagh HS and Armagh Royal School.  Kick off is at 10.15am. 


Bangor Tournament

A tournament is also taking place at Bangor RFC this Thursday at 11am. Bangor Academy, Shimna College, Bangor Academy, Strangford College and Glastry College are to take part. 

All support is welcome at all of the tournaments!!
