| It was Neil's first MOTM award on the international stage, but typically, he played it down, stating that any one of a number of players could have picked up the prize; "I hope I've got better games ahead of me. I'd like to get better and better every time I wear an Ireland jersey. Everybody is working hard for each other so anyone could have won the man-of-the-match award"
"This is a good victory for us regardless of the conditions. We played well in the first half, although we didn't quite match it in the second half. It was good to have that points cushion but there are still things to work on. Beating two Southern Hemisphere teams over two weekends is very good."
All in all it was a very positive performance for not just Ireland but also for the Ulster players involved in the side. Scrum-half Isaac Boss and prop Bryan Young made their first international starts while hooker Rory Best contended well in difficult conditions at line-out time.
