| Rory Best, Neil Best and Andrew Trimble all started the match with Trimble scoring Ireland's first try in their 32 - 15 win, only their third victory against the Boks in eighteen matches.
Bryan Young, Isaac Boss and Paddy Wallace, winning his first Ireland cap, all came on in the second half (pictured below)

After the match, Neil Best, winning his 6th cap said "I was naturally delighted with the victory, but there were certain aspects of my own game that I wasn't happy with and on a personal level, I'd have to say I'm disappointed."
"But it was a great day for Andrew Trimble who again showed what a great player he is and our aim has to be to give him the ball and space and he'll do the rest."
Ireland take on Australia this Sunday (19th November, kick off 4pm) and Eddie O'Sullivan is expected to name his side on Wednesday at lunchtime, however, Ulster's Andrew Trimble is an injury doubt with a tight hamstring.
