MATCH FACTS:

- Newport Gwent Dragons staged the equal best comeback in the history of the league at Hughenden last Friday, overturning a 20-point deficit to win 24-23

- The Dragons have not lost to an Irish team in the league at Rodney Parade since Ulster were the visitors on September 24 last year

- Reigning league champions Ulster got themselves off to a perfect start in defence of their title with a 31-16 victory over the Scarlets at Ravenhill. The northerners are still unbeaten in the league in 2006

- Ulster did the league 'double' over the Dragons last season, scoring three tries in each game. Flanker Neil Best, who is absent this time around due to Ireland squad commitments, touched down twice in last September's 22-19 win for Ulster at Rodney Parade

- In the battle of the out-halves, Craig Warlow (Dragons) and Ulster's David Humphreys have scored in four of the sides' six meetings in the league. Warlow has bagged 31 points - five conversions, five penalties and two drop goals - while Humphreys's total against the Dragons stands at 45 points - one try, five conversions, nine penalties and a drop goal
